	Donovan's Brain - Hit Me in the Face b/w 50,000,000 Years - Get Hip (1997) •The A side is a yet another from Shambaholic. Hit Me In The Face mixes Johnny Thunders and the Beach Boys, the result of a collaboration between Ron Sanchez and Jim Kehoe. •It is only available on this 45. •The B side version of 50,000,000 Years was prepared for the Hit The Hay compilation, but not used at the time. The Deniz Tek Catalog Deniz Tek And Scott Morgan - Three Assassins (2004) •In the Spring of 2001 Deniz Tek booked a tour of France and Italy with A-10 (members of the Sonic Assassins) supplying the backing. He also asked his pal Scott Morgan to come along for the ride. •This live album, 3 Assassins, is the souvenier of that tour. CThe songs were chosen from Deniz' solo catalog, Scott's contributions to Sonic's Rendevouz Band, and three choice covers. Listen to samples of all ten tracks at the cdBaby site Sale Price CD: $10 pp         (CD artwork shown - vinyl differs) Deep Reduction - 2 - Get Hip •After a lineup change and epic European odyssey, Deep Reduction returned to the studio to finish their second album cryptically titled "2". •Now featuring bass player Jonathan Sipes from the notorious surf/spy-fi instrumental outfit the Omega Men, the backing tracks continued the eclectic traditions of the first album, but went much further stylistically, arriving at a more coherent and powerful group sound. •To unify the project further, they recruited Rob Younger, singer and band mate of Deniz from Radio Birdman. With Rob's vocals, the tracks are unified into a coherent whole. • Rob, Deniz and Jack shared songwriting, highlights being the opening tracks "Two Words" and "Creosote", the polytonal slide craze of "I'm Gone", the psyched out "Question Is", and the hot rod Sipes' growl "Flat Sea". •A cover of the Pink Fairies "City Kids" is an added sonic treat. •A very few rare vinyl copies are available through Career Records mailorder. CD: $15 pp Vinyl: $20 pp Deep Reduction - Deep Reduction - Get Hip •We now have cds as well as a few Rare red vinyl versionof the first Deep Reduction album. •Deep Reduction is the studio-born project featuring Deniz Tek with members of the Stump Wizards, legendary Pennsylvania hard rockers. Deniz was there to produce the notorious "Contains Lead" album when DR was created. After a successful single recorded during the "Lead" sessions, this first album was recorded a few months later. •Stylistically ranging from electric acid-blues jams to 60's garage to Byrds-like ballads, the album provides a look at the far side of both parent groups...unrestricted by previous standards or expectations. •Vocals are shared between Jack Chiara, Deniz Tek and Mike Giblin. The album contains an equal contribution of songwriting by Deniz Tek and Jack Chiara, contributions from the bass player Mike Giblin, and the heart and soul of Deep Reduction, drummer Clyde McGeary. •This album also contains solid cover versions of the Vibrators "Whips and Furs" and Michel Polnareff's "Time Will Tell". The Richard Treece Catalog Richard Treece was a founding member of the 70's UK/UA band, Help Yourself. Since 1997, Ricky has been part of the Donovan's Brain circle of friends appearing on at least four albums and numerous compilation tracks. Richard, along with Ken Whaley, perform with their own band, Green Ray and participated in the completion of the legendary 5th Help Yourself album. Ken can also be heard on numerous Donovan's Brain recordings. The Green Ray - Fragile World -Senzatempo (2005) •A compilation of new studio tracks, live recordings from the London Terrastock, and songs from their 1993 debut 12". The Malcolm Morley Catalog Malcom Morley was the pricipal singer and songwriter for Help Yourself, as well as playing guitar, keyboards, and bass. In 1974 He joined friends, The Manband and toured America. Malcolm has released two solo albums, and appeared on records by Wreckless Eric, Kirsty McColl, Man, and Donovan's Brain. Editor Phil McMullen tirelessly sought out the best music in the world to feature in this 'zine, and has hosted the occasional Terrastock Music Festival. •Issue 35 contains a rare BBC recording of Help Yourself performing the otherwise unreleased Halfbreed. •You'll also find unique tracks from The Green Pajamas, Bevis Frond, and Stooges sax player Steve MacKay. •This will be the last issue of the Terrascope to be edited by Phil.
