Roy and the Longshots once again gathered in Seattle for their annual May gigs. Also on the agenda this year was two days of recording at the famous Eggs Studio. Founding Longshots, Scott McCaughey and Tad Hutchison helped out in the studio. Roy Loney was invited to sit in with The A-Bones at the Las Vegas Rockaround in October. Here are a few snapshots of Roy and some of the fold he hung out with. Much to our surprise, this was Roy's first visit ever to Sin City. Roy was

Every year an ever changing group of friends gather at the O'Hare Motor Inn to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Sip 'n Dip Lounge. After his first visit to the Sip n'Dip, Jack Tielman thought we should invite our friends from all over the world to join us in Great Falls for a drink. Much to our surprise most of them have shown up at one time or another. The first sanctioned even was in July 1998, and we've had at least one gathering every year since. Part of the weekend's activities always include a spin around the town's thrift shops, antique stores, and pawn shops, in search of those elusive treasures. Bowling, horse racing, and fine dining take up what time isn't spent in the bar. When Lewis and Clark reached the Great Falls of the Missouri, they thought it would only take a day to portage around the rapids. As we've found out this was poor planning on their part. Some of the Corps Of Discovery claim they were enchanted by the mermaid at the Sip n' Dip. |

Colter has been with Donovan's Brain since the early days. You shouldn't hold that against him. He's generously agreed to share some photos from his family album with us.
